VOTE No. 1 - TOM FORTUNE
My aim is simple -
I want the Greystones/Kilcoole/Newcastle/Delgany/Kiladreenan areas to be treated fairly. I want local issues to be dealt with, not ignored. My priority as a councillor is to ensure that all local issues get a fair hearing. This is what I have done over the past 5 years and will continue to do if I get re-elected.
Greystones/Kilcoole/Newcastle/Delgany and Kiladreenan need a County Councillor with a proven track record of work in the community to look after their interests at County Council level.
As a county councillor, I have been able to make a difference. I believe that I can continue to do that.
We must preserve and protect what is unique about our communities, while allowing for the proper planning and development of our communities and also make sure that the area does not become the depository for undesirable developments that are rejected elsewhere. To do this we need an elected County Councillor for our area at Wicklow County Council.
I believe I have the qualifications, the experience, the record of community involvement and the proven capacity to ensure that the views of the people are not only listened to but are given priority in the future planning and development of our communities.
Our communities need energetic and rigorous representation. I am asking you to help me continue to achieve this.
I am always available and approachable to all. I will always help anyone in anyway I can.
